Studio Rules

Red Room Premises Rules:

  1. Recording Sessions and Transactions: Engineers provide transactional services only. Recording sessions involving alternate compensation must be arranged and approved by R3’s owner, general manager, or authorized personnel.
  2. Booking:
    • Book online via R3’s platform.
    • Payment covers studio space reservation; no refunds for cancellations.
    • Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable and non-reschedulable.
    • Recommend booking 2 days in advance. Sessions follow specified times.
  3. Studio Rules:
    • No smoking in the building or immediate vicinity.
    • Drug-free environment; no illegal drugs allowed.
    • Drinking under 21 is prohibited in the building.
    • Responsible alcohol consumption away from production console.
    • Impaired guests must leave; non-compliance leads to authorities.
  4. Fair Practices:
    • R3’s business model is based on fairness, devoid of favoritism or outside deals.
    • Prohibited: arrangements, collaborations, side deals without owner’s consent.
  5. Privacy and Access:
    • Studio access limited to R3 staff, executives, and invited artists (minimum of 5 people).
  6. COVID-19 Guidelines:
    • Masks and 6-foot distance required.
    • Maximum group size of five.
    • Temperature checks and hand cleaning facilities available.
  7. Deposits:
    • Sessions ≤ 4 hours require full payment.
    • Sessions > 4 hours: 50% deposit at booking.
    • Protects engineer’s schedule; ensures session availability.
    • 6-hour sessions can span 2 weeks if agreed.
    • Deposit holders can move sessions within 24 hours without penalty.
    • After 2nd reschedule, deposit is forfeited; new deposit needed.
    • Confirm session with deposit within 48 hours of confirmation.
    • Balance due at session start for sessions > 4 hours (50% deposit required).
